Do you like surprises when you go on your annual vacation? Personally I like to do a bit of research before I go to a holiday destination.
The way I look at it is that I am going to a foreign country so why not try and experience the culture. There are some absolutely fantastic travel sites on the web that are full to the brim with useful information about your chosen destination.
I’m not saying you should plan out every aspect of your holiday before you go , but certainly doing a little research sure helps you get the most from your holiday and you will find places to visit and attractions that will certainly not have found once you get there.
Google maps and Google earth is another great way to check out your destination as you will be able to see exactly where you’ll end up before you book. Boy, do the travel agents hate that one. No more dodgy brochure shots thank you.
