Cheap Air Flights
For all of us who love to travel, there is no bigger attraction than cheap airline fares. I became a fan of cheap airline fares ever since I discovered that they exist.
Cheap flights though can be a bit of a wake up call to the initiated (and the initiated as I recently found out).
We always book our holidays independently as we find you get far more for your money, and this year we took our first easy jet flight. Now there’s an experience.
We got to the airport and parked in the pre-booked car park no problem only to find on arriving at the South terminal at Gatwick that the Easy jet flights had been moved to the North Terminal. No Problem though being in holiday mode, although it was a tad stressy dragging all the luggage.
Anyway we got to the departure lounge and I was a little confused that there was no seat number on any of our tickets only to discover that easy jet prefer the every man women and child for themselves method of boarding.
Talk about a scramble to try and get a seat altogether this was truly cattle class.
To be fair though the cabin crew were much more polite than the lady at the boarding gate, who sounded so bored as she called passengers forward that you could barely understand her god I’m board drawl, and she even managed to go through the entire boarding card process without even making eye contact even when speaking.
All in all though we learnt a good lesson for the return journey and the money saved on out budget flight was put to very good use on a number of slap up family meals.
