Thinking of a sunny beach vacation, grand surfing, and acquiring a tan in winter? Yes, the very thought of surfing in wide open beaches in winter is tempting.

Before you rush to fly out to far Caribbean or anywhere else bragging of undefeated surfing, do your homework first that might save your life. Shark attacks are on the rise and you do not want to be shark feed after spending all that cash in your wallets for a super vacation.

No thank you, you say. You’d rather play poker at home with the same shark-timid cast of characters who have a mind to show some tricks with their custom zippo lighters, guzzle beer, and collect[/pin] the money to fatten their designer wallets.

Yes, the tub is a much safer place for your suitcase or backpack if you do not want those sly bugs in your clothes and finally in your home. Check the mattresses’ undersides and if you see black and red splotches, get another room or another hotel.
